Note that we will not be selling native perennials at the Duluth Farmers Market in May-June.
Our plant selection is focused on a.) providing the greatest resource to native pollinators and other insects, and b.) species that grow naturally within our region, because they are best suited to our climate and have evolved with our wildlife. All are naturally occurring in Minnesota (distribution maps can be found on the Minnesota Wildflowers website), and we have sourced seed from within St. Louis County for many species (noted in species descriptions). Others are purchased from Prairie Moon Nursery from the closest ecotype possible.
