50-pack Septic Mound Kit

$150.00
sold out

Fifty 5” deep plugs of 10 species that range in height and bloom time. Suitable for 100-200 square feet, selected for species with fibrous roots that will not damage underground septic mound components, along with the ability to tolerate the poorer quality soil typical of septic fill. The 5” size plug is hardier than a 6-pack and though they benefit from watering every day or two initially, will be quicker to establish. Highly recommended for establishing new plantings when erosion control is needed quickly.

The species will be selected from the following list to include 8 flowering species and 2 grasses, depending on availability:

Butterfly Weed, Brown-Eyed Susan, Golden Alexander, Junegrass, Little Bluestem, Long-Headed Coneflower, Ox-eye Sunflower, Narrow-leaved Coneflower, Pale Corydalis, Prairie Brome, Rattlesnake Master, Rough Blazing Star, Side Oats Grama, Wild Bergamot, White Prairie Clover, and others.
